    Before people give an interview they - or their campaign staff- will ponder what questions they might be asked and what their answers will look like.
    Just like in a speech, in a way. You know you have to find a good way to explain your facts. If you have something difficult to explain - like a budget plan - you will develop a good, convincing summary that you can use whenever people ask you.
    This is what you do. What everyone does who has an ounce of experience in being interviewed. And R&R have their campaign staff, too.
    So the only conclusion to draw from Ryan's statements is that he has never had the intention of explaining anything. Period.

    The future is renewable.

      He doesn't have to ponder which questions they are going to ask, he could just ask for the questions in advance. Or just tell them which questions to ask.

      Republicans believe you need an ID to vote but you can donate millions to any candidate completely anonymously. (h/t jbou)
