    that 8 percent will increase and who knows how far it will go.  I suspect that the "bad credit" mortgages are just the tip of the iceberg what with the average American worker living from paycheck to paycheck on financial precipice.  It just take one illness or injury or layoff for a mortgage to quickly and hopelessly back up.

      We're entering bumpy times. Even though this is very negative we have to look for the positive.

      Take the Sumatra quake - awful event, but the positive was an outpouring of support and helping those in need.

      The tragedy united a lot of people for good.

      It's just that we need to get to a point where we help each other as a regular occurrence without much thought if any in absence of a great tragedy.

      If we get to this point then the world will be much more peaceful and as a species our consciousness will go up a few notches.
