    has more to do with whether the forces that we're covertly aiding there get the neocon's job done on the cheap.

    if i remember correctly, i've read several reports that supplies and other covert aid for the syrian rebels from the us and other countries is being routed through turkey.  it would make some sense then that turkey would have some right to make a call on those that it is assisting in providing covert aid.

      that they would have a lot of right to call on them for the reasons you cite and because they are a NATO member.

      I don't believe much of anything about this war in Syria from the official government sources or the usual propaganda mills.  

      It's obviously a proxy war.  The neocons obviously have wanted to overthrow Assad for more than a decade now.  I think this war is contrived and the powers that be don't care how many people are massacred in their quest for a new world order or whatever phrase the neocon maniacs have been using since the late 90s.

        is to destroy most of the world's infrastructure and capacity to defend and support themselves such that they are beholden to corporate masters for their bare survival needs.  it seems to me an awful vision that the neocons have rolled out.
