  •  Question for Akin (I am serious) (0+ / 0-)

We know Todd Akin's statements were absurd and that he has walked them, but he did say them originally only because he believed them himself. So, here is my question…

Say a woman or girl was raped, and applied the (now-discredited) thwarting technique in which she willfully miscarries.

Todd, how is that NOT a sin against God and a crime against your (Akin's) morality/ethics? Even if that little rape-retracting mechanism doesn't exist, how would the belief in its functional operability NOT conflict with God's will as you (Akin) believe it to be?

So the whole time Akin was making up and preaching his nonsense, with the acceptance of the Republican Party until it backfired, he was hypocritically defending a bizarre and impossible power of 'woman' which offends even his own beliefs and teachings!
