aggressive attitude on the stump.  The campaign must come after Mitt Romney hard for the lies he told during the debate.

I know it has not been a lot of time since the debate ended, but the campaign needs to demonstrate very quickly that it understands the potential implications of letting Romney lie with impunity.

The President let a lot of people down last night.  He owes it to them to bring his A game.

of coming back strong after this type of setback. Romney was saying one outrageous thing after another last night, it shouldn't be too hard to put together a narrative of how he's a sketchy con artist who shouldn't be trusted with anything.

He reminded me of an aggressive door-to-door salesman I once almost had to call the cops on.

Pres Obama would have to lose a helluva lot of states he won last time in order to lose the election.

I did some math and figured out if he can keep OH , he can lose a lot states and still win. He could lose FL, VA, NC, IA, CO, and still win..if he can keep NM and either NH or NV.

There are many different ways to victory for the President, much fewer for Mittens. Mittens would have gain over 5 pts in OH and same in WI and win in Florida and Iowa and Virginia and North Carolina

I think there are not enough undecided voters to swing this election wildly based on a debate.

clever thing when you are dodging an 800 lb gorilla.

Romney brought out the one issue that can beat Obama, and the President needs to address it effectively: unemployment.

More to the point, is the appearance that the administration ignored the suffering of the unemployed while pursuing ACA.

The problem is, that, well -- they did.

I suspect the best approach is a not-really mea-culpa and reference to the first two years of Reagan.

      The not-really mea-culpa?

"I'm not going to ask people who are out of work to be patient with me.  I can't ask a jobless mother or father with kids to feed for patience.  They should be mad!  It's not fair to take people who've done the right things, people who want to work, people who want to take care of their families, and throw them to the curb.  If they want to be mad at me -- that's OK.  I can take it. I'm the President. That's my job."

Follow that up with a reference to Reagan's first two years, and the run-up in unemployment and the fact that the economy doesn't turn on  a dime.  Maybe a reminder that he championed a stimulus, extended unemployment benefits, and mortgage relief to take some of the sting out while the economy was turning.

Finally, point out that the American economy IS turning around, even while China is stalling and there is rioting in some European nations.
