  •  That wil be fleshed out among people who are (4+ / 0-)

interested.  The low information, undecided voter will not be watching the flesh out.  They saw the debate and that will be enough for them.  The President had his chance and he didn't have any counter to the Romney talking points that anyone who watches cable news were shouting at the TV. It was a supremely missed opportunity by the President and it lets Romney back in the game.

      •  And by this point, why was he - or ANY Dem on (0+ / 0-)

ANY tv show - surprised and knocked off-kilter when a RePug LIES?  Hello, that's their # 1 tactic!

(Remember Cheney gutting Edwards in '04 debate with introductory "I don't believe I've ever seen you before (in the Senate)."  Edwards was neutered from the start.)

Really.  How can this be a surprise that Romney did what he (when not in a closed/donor situation) always does?

"No one could have foreseen..." that he would LIE about ObamaCare cuts and his own top-secret tax plan?  Really?

Sigh.  Better effing recalibrate and call the lies lies in the remaining debates.  Strong language.  Point to website for details and straight fact-check.  Don't leave it to the dead fish erm, moderator, cable spin rooms or corpmedia to assess later.

        Call. It. Out.

The GOP says you have to have an ID to vote, but $ Millionaire donors should remain anonymous?

They'll get their information from the ads that both sides will be rolling out during the next month. Romney's lies tonight give the Obama team some extra ammunition for this duel.
