    Some here cannot accept that Obama was not at his best and would rather make bizarre claims and blame everything and everyone rather than have to face up to that fact.

    The really sad thing is that they feel the need to do this when so little is at stake - nothing is going to change due to this debate - Romney needed to win by a knockout and he didn't.

    Obama is not infallible and that is causing minds to explode on Dkos.

      I am not saying that President Obama had the best debate performance of his life. But it certainly did not warrant the 5 alarm manic meltdown I witnessed on MSNBC.

      I am weary of the constant hysteria and "winner take all" mentality in our political "analysis".

      Reality doesn't work that way.

        wishful thinking and whining about the media helps anything.  The media is what it is.  The polls show that the public saw Romney as the winner.  That's the reality.  The president's job is to win and do what it takes to win.  These cards are the reality we're dealt and we need to navigate that environment.  He was not on top of his game last night and needs to do better next time.  Bitching about the media does no good.
