  •  The pundits have not called this a flub. (13+ / 0-)

Funny, but I think this may well be the blunder that takes on a life of its own and actually causes some damage.

    •  The pundits mostly work for commercial networks (10+ / 0-)

They have no reason to want PBS to continue to receive its small amount of funding.

    •  I wish I had the technical skills to (13+ / 0-)

take a screen shot from the coal miner add and put a bunch of big birds behind Romney wearing safety helmets and with coal dust smeared on them, since Romney said he likes coal.  He just doesn't like coal miners, I guess.

      •  Of course he doesn't (3+ / 0-)

like them. They're poor, aren't they? And dirty. You couldn't invite them over. The would ruin the chairs.

And little kids can't even vote. Heh, heh, heh.

Romney plans to fire a lot more than Big Bird. He wants to fire SS, Medicare, public education...I could go on but you get the picture.

But all is not lost, folks. We will get vouchers. Our kids can go to the fancy prep schools...say what? No?

Right. Nobody told us how much education or health care a voucher will cover, but Hell's Bells, poor doesn't mean dumb, no matter what Romney and his ilk think.

But I do believe the rich get dumbed down at a certain point (think of Louis and Marie, think of GW, and no he wasn't a regular guy. He just played one on TV), and the poor, well, you know, things became very unpleasant at one point.

We won't let it go that far this time, of course.  We have the ballot. Tell your friends. Tell people on Twitter, on Facebook, on the street. Go tell it on the mountain. We have the vote.

    •  Early childhood education -- for poor kids. (7+ / 0-)

For children of too many hardworking parents, stuff like Sesame Street is the only educational prep they get before going off to try to keep  up with kids whose parents provide enriched early childhood experience.

Especially true for families who can't afford high cost of cable channels with educational child fare, books, computerized learning games.

They START their school experience behind -- which further downgrades their self-image compared to peer group.

The same mentality beat down Head Start programs.  They want a supply of workers too cowed to stand up for their self worth.

rMoney is an effete bully.   But then he ridicules people spent decades paying into private pension plans -- as part of their promised pay for their hard work -- and then let rMoney use loopholes to steal that cash & hide it in the Caymans, Swiss banks, and hideously overhuge IRAs.  He blames says them as part of 47% who didn't "care for themselves."

Guess they should have borrowed money from their millionaire dad to go to Harvard & learn to steal from the poor -- legally OR protect themselves from vultures like Mitt.

Has anyone done a cartoon yet ------> of a vulture capitalist eating big bird?          What the PLUCK?

De fund + de bunk = de EXIT--->>>>>
