    The election won't be won or lost on such formalities, though there is a segment that will salute any flag run up a flagpole.  Your point's taken, of course he's the president, but at the same time that makes him our employee.   Sorry, but I'll say that to anyone.

    I support, respect, etc. etc., but let's make sure that the relationship here is understood.  He's there to work for us.

      And kudos for the reminder that EXACTLY!!! Our elected officials ARE our employees (or should be...) When I was in college, that was how I regarded my teachers -- with respect, but also with the expectation that they would do their job, and do it well.

      the United States. He is due the courtesy of the title of the position. The Presidency, the position, deserves respect, whomever is responsible for this nation.

      Calling him "Barry" does not make that relationship clear. What running a flag up a flagpole has to do with this is nothing.
