    Obama did call him on some of the lies; I think for the most part Romney ignored being called on it and even repeated the lie again despite the fact that he had just been called on it. I think Obama realized quickly that he'd come across as a jerk if he repeatedly refuted the lies, and would lose too much time to be able to explain his own policies.

    I caught at least one or two times where Romney contradicted what he'd said three seconds ago. If anyone analyses his word salad, they'll spot him for the con man he is.

      In fact one lady in a CNN focus group of undecided voters got upset with President Obama because he kept saying that Mitt is proposing a $5 trillion tax cut.  She said that the President wasn't listening to Mitt when he wss saying tht he wasn't propsing the cuts.  She went on to say that that is the problem with Washington.  I turned the channel shaking my head.  There's not much you can do.
