"I have to say that I watched the debate last night and was amazed at how flustered Romney seemed. At times he sputtered out of context, just throwing up anything that entered his mind, without making logical sense. The President on the other hand was calm, cogent and competent, at times schooling the mendacious governor on the impracticality of his proposals"
--I also agree that Romney stuttered, was obviously flustered, and clearly was lying. So does the person who runs the Keith Olbermann fan page on Facebook. I don't get all these people who say Romney won...are they idiots? Have they never seen a debate before? Are they just polling Republicons? The President did do some pushback last night, especially against Romney's constant lies about Medicare. I think only if you're a corporacrat, interested in making it seem like a dead heat, or a Romney partisan, could you have thought he won.

I wonder if everyone else saw the same debate I did. I think maybe they didn't. Was MSNBC's coverage that different from everyone else's?

a dissapointment last night I have to say. Rachel as well as Ed Schultz were hammering the President for "losing the debate" specifically based on the idea that the President didn't refer to past Romney comments like 47%. Sharpton was staring at them as though they had gone crazy....

Maybe that's the problem. I just watched the debate and shut things off afterward. I didn't let the "very serious people" commenting on the debate decide for me what I saw. And what I saw was the Rombot clearly lying and the President clearly telling the truth.

He also caught all the racist code--all the 'sending it back to the states', states' rights, Tenth Amendment shit. He has seen this movie before: Entitled, lying racist bullies trying to steamroll their way through with utter condescenscion and bullshit. Rev. Al knows better than to rise to that bait.

        So does Prez O.

I await the ads intercutting Mitt's new "I love Teh Poors" crap from the debate with his chilling stuff from the 47% video: "They feel entitled to FOOD..." I await POTUS' good-humored, self-effacing campaign appearances in which he debunks some of Mitt's new flip-flops & lies while chiding himself for being so 'bad' in the debate 'cause he just couldn't keep up with all the new 'stuff' coming his way.

This isn't the time to misunderestimate the Prez.

Ho'oponopono. To make things right; restore harmony; heal.
