story and your sticking with it. I would rather the President discuss the facts cogently than to once again bring up 47%. The 47% argument will be used over and over, the President is leading because of it.... Some Democrats have always deemed to want to tell this President what to do, and if he fails to go along with the program the temper tantrums begin.... I have seen this movie before.

Just saying Obama let Romney slip some lies in there.  The President could have explained that the $716 BILLION in "cuts" to Medicare do not affect retirees benefits, & that Medicare Advantage is a private plan, an optional plan that retirees choose.  He could also have said that it is loaded w/ unnecessary subsidies paid for by the government.

He could have mentioned that the stories Romney told about people losing healthcare were all strangely from swing states.  He could also have asked if he told them to go to the ER as he did last month.  And he could have asked if they were part of Romney's 47% that he doesn't care about.

      Just saying.....

        Medicare:

Seven hundred and sixteen billion dollars we were able to save from the Medicare program by no longer overpaying insurance companies, by making sure that we weren’t overpaying providers.

And using that money, we were actually able to lower prescription drug costs for seniors by an average of $600, and we were also able to make a -- make a significant dent in providing them the kind of preventive care that will ultimately save money through the -- throughout the system.

Again, you and I saw two different debates....
