is Romney flips it and says Obamacare for old people?  What's wrong with Obamacare?  Without close to adequate votes for single payer, Obamacare is politically and even economically justified (risk spreading not just among the infirm), but good for the goose is good for the gander.

It makes the most sense in a debate to defend medicare as medicare and Obamacare as Obamacare.

Part of the issue, here, is the right is attacking Obama b/c that's what they do (see, Sununu), but the left, too, is upset that he didn't pander to ourselves.  There's no substantive criticism of Obama from any camp.

    Difficult, difficult, lemon difficult.

True, that. Interim stepping-stones as well as interim band-aids. And you're right -- the goal is to transform Obamacare into Medicare for all, not Medicare into Obamacare.

My substantive criticism is that I wish he'd done last night what he's doing today. Oh, and Diebold, election fraud, campaign finance reform, prosecutions for torture and high treason, running the loobyists out of Washington (went back to correct my spelling and decided I liked "loobyists")... I don;t want much ;-)
