They'll put some red herring out there again, but attack a different way.  Now they've got a read on Obama.  He plays by the rules.  They don't.

Get over it.  And....why were we all surprised last night? Romney & Ryan lie all the time.

They appealed to Obama's sense of 11th chess to see hazards that weren't there.  Romney can't actually deliver zingers... my 5 year old has better comic timing.  The lies aren't the setup of some deeper strategy.

The lies ARE Romney's primary strategy.  Lies + Money + Lazy Press = Victory.

      from the Romney campaign yet?

They are barely able to spell "tactics," let alone actually top the whip-smart (bad choice of words here?) Obama least over the long haul.

These are the same people who have mishandled everything for the past 6 months or more -- I don't think they suddenly became eligible for MacArthur genius grants.

Obama's been president for 4 years. The fact that he plays by the rules is not news unless you've been hiding under a large rock. They didn't need a "read" on him.

In fact, I don't think they actually "won" anything of value -- so all the hand-wringing and pearl-clutching around here is pointless.  Yes, they have headlines and pundits making all sorts of horse-race-is-tightening claims, but they are not getting what they need -- independents moving their direction. In fact, the evidence is for the opposite.

I expect they will be as terrible in this new "prosperity" as they have been up to now.

      It's who they are.
