    I hope no real damage was done but come on -- can we see a few polls like on the weekend or Monday, not one less than 24 hours after the debate ended?  

    And I still say 9 down to 5 blows, sorry.

    Also, this is a tracker, right?  Do they only not suck when we like the results? I forget.

      Reuters/Ipsos does a tracking poll. This was a reaction poll.

      Even the trackers matter for the trendlines.

      Obama didn't budge. Romney gained with his base.

      Romney was never going to get 39 percent of the vote, and no other polling shows him that low. If anything, the pre-debate poll was an outlier. The new numbers are more inline with the polling consensus.

      But looking at the trendlines, seeing Romney gain after winning a debate is no shocker. What is encouraging is that Obama didn't lose the debate. He held his support steady.
