    something interesting to note, but yes, I get tired of the libertarian spin. In the last year I have met a ton of finance people who really believe all the Milton Friedman dreck.

    That being said, this is fing ridiculous

      Especially Murdoch-owned WSJ and its sister publication Barron's. Their news coverage is mostly legit, but their editorials are batshit, and in anything else that directly covers economics or politics, even book reviews, this stuff comes out. Government is evil, just privatize and deregulate, even longing for the gold standard  (Bloomberg and Reuters do this much less).
