  •  And again, if you seriously think Obama (6+ / 0-)

either couldn't think of a way to raise it, or couldn't find the right moment, I wonder how you think he's intelligent enough to be President in the first place??

He didn't FORGET something which the entire nation is talking about.  He wasn't at a loss for how to raise it.  To believe either of those things requires you to believe that both he and his professional debate advisors are stupid and incompetent, and that is patently absurd.  I'm sorry, but the idea that Obama "forgot" this or "didn't know how to raise it" is ridiculous on its face.

you're not really telling me that was strategy, are you?  God knows what happened, but that was not strategy - he couldn't come out with a declarative sentence, he didn't know his closing statement, he began and ended the debate with what amounted to sheepish apologies, he hung his head the whole night, he nodded affirmatively when he was being criticized, he didn't respond to blatant inaccuracies.  Don't get me started.

I believe he will turn it around but don't tell me (or yourself) that it was strategy.

      •  I get it -- you think Obama is stupid enough (2+ / 0-)

to FORGET the thing about the 47%.  This makes you irrational and therefore pointless trying to have a discussion with.

        Good day to you.

      •  I DID watch it. On C-span WITHOUT pundit chatter. (1+ / 0-)

Obama DID look into the camera several times.  And he DID look at Willard several times.  He DID look down when he was making notes.  However, he DID look tired and was not as animated as he usually is.

The 47% and All About Bain has been, and still is being covered and talked about all over the place.  There was absolutely no reason for PBHO to introduce either of those subjects into a 90 minute debate on domestic policy.

Willard was "theatrically aggressive"...he gave a loud, overbearing presentation of himself that he had obviously severely practiced.

I'm not privileged - along with everyone else in the public - to know what the Obama team's strategy was.  But I am absolutely sure it was a choice, by the team or PBHO himself, not to bring up Bain or the 47%.
