And to place our faith in after-the-event 'fact checkers'?

That's like a correction in the weekend newspaper on page 37-B.

I don't say all is lost, not by a long shot, but there's no way Obama's shockingly passive performance isn't hurting him.  We already see it, despite Kos's latest hard spin.

Two-fifths of a poll?  Two-sevenths?  This is evidence?

Obama's overconfidence or cavalier treatment of that debate should hafve pissed us ALL off.  One of his advisers said he treated the prep as a 'drag,' and that 'we won't see that Barack Obama again.'  We can only hope.

But why the hell did we see him even once?  This thing would be OVER had he gotten a damned tie with that POS the other night!

This is why I take no comfort in the "Romney lied" theme that's going around. He did lie. But how many voters will know this. I recently checked a news website. The horse race "Romney kicked butt" story got twice as many hits on it than the "fact checking the debate" story link right below it. People have to KNOW these are lies in order for that line of attack to work. Many people won't bother to follow up or worse, never saw the debate and just relied on stories the next A.M.
