'Slump'?  Perhaps instead of orders to PBO on what he should say, together with stage directions and exactly what inflection to use, you should take some time to stream a rally or two, where PBO talks to tens of thousands of Americans with passion, animation, humor, facts and heart.  There's no slump there.

We all worked very hard to re-frame the narrative, and we've done a hell of a job.  The focus is on Mitt's lies -- and in those rallies you should see PBO make use of them.  It's a sight to behold.

Our job was harder because we not only had to fight Republicans and the Romney campaign, but the vicious attacks against the President from the left, reminiscent of the damage done in 2010.  How is that helpful a month before the election?

I have the President's back.  He was far from perfect Wednesday night, although it appears he may have made strong strategic moves in the long run.  And yet we continue to underestimate him.  Let's have his back for once instead of lectures.

Funny how "slump" gets all the response.  Oh well . . .

Obama is great speaker and does well on his stump speeches but 67M don't watch stump speeches.

His convention speech was, at best, the third best speech of the convention.  It was good but nothing like his last two convention speeches.  This might be a problem when you set the bar high, and he is busy being the President after all, but the stakes are just too high for sub par performances.

He has thick enough skin.  Others would do well to follow.
