      Adding to Brit
FCPA takes loads of time. especially likes local cases to play out first.
FCPA lawyers and most DOJ prosecuting cas preparing lawyers are civil servants not political appointees.  Violation of Hatch Act to take action that favor political party or party backer. Ask Monica Goodling of USAttorney hiring infame.   Bureau of Mines employees.

FCPA is the least of RM's worries.  The DOJ FCPA investigations are moreover of cases that until recently got no attention from anyone.*

Case in point there were no proper compliance offices in place for FCPA in News Corp office  before 7/11; they got bad marks from the public interest group that monitors compliance before 7/11; and they still only just announced the hiring of the big shots former SEC types who will head them up. This week, 10/12.

*so a movie producer went to jail for bribing an Indonesian IIRC official to secure a location for a film....was a on hum subject

"Are you bluish? You don't look bluish," attributed to poet Roger Joseph McGough, for the Beatles' Yellow Submarine (1968).
