TV show in Canada called the Uncle Bobby Show. Every episode featured a cardboard cutout "birthday clown" called "Bimbo". Bimbo was introduced with a song by Jim Reeves entitled Bimbo.

Given that "Uncle Bobby" was played by an actor from the UK, who created the show and did most of the writing, I'm figuring "bimbo" had a different meaning on the other side of the pond at that time, if not today.
