  •  More from Sully (7+ / 0-)

    His prediction:

Romney will be a Massachusetts moderate in all the debates, while his campaign will then tell the GOP and the country that it's all an act to get that 51 percent. The he'll do ... well, no one has any idea what he'd actually do. If he can reverse his entire primary position in one debate, imagine how creative he could be in office. And at some point, that has to rattle the far right, no? Or do they just not really care as long as they win? After the way they behaved under Bush as he betrayed every conservative principle in sight, I think they only want to win.

    •  After the right got misled by Bush, I do (5+ / 0-)

wonder if they are willing to throw their lot in with Romney on the hope that he will support their causes.

Charlie Brown kept lining up to kick the football even when he knew that Lucy was going to pull it away at the last minute. Sully is right ... they really have no idea which Romney would be president.

If you want a real incentive to leave it all on the field, we might want to ponder that he would do what Bush did ... turn it over to his Vice President. Now that would be damn scary.

Words have meaning. Our words will reflect what is in our souls.
