  •  morning hon. maya is doing pretty good (11+ / 0-)

thanks for asking. we still have some issues. but she is mostly accepting of her inhaler now. her breathing rate is monitored all day. twice i gave inhaler ahead of time when breathing looked a bit heavier than it should be.

she is back to following me around house (i have office at home) all day long. spends most of day on one of her beds in my office. she is miss piggy with food now. i am constantly opening new cans!

    •  I'm so glad to hear this. (11+ / 0-)

One can get through life OK as long as the pet is happy.

On that note, Sasha is laying down on the heater, a sign that Fall is finally here.

I am feeling better since late last week but I'm wondering when my brain will catch up. I'm still so hazy in my thinking, and so I continue to feel vulnerable and emotional. Office politics are at a high and seeking refuge in my once safe office is now contentious as I am sharing it with an instigator. Now I've been blamed for making the newbie feel "unwelcome," you see, I caused this "friction..." and how surprised everyone is since I've "always been so welcoming and helpful to the new hires." Now, it is my responsibility to have a sit down and take responsibility since I'm the 'senior therapist.' Gak, just cause I'm a therapist does that mean I have to take the high road?

And continuing on this line of thinking: when Romney bullies POTUS it is considered "Style!" but when Biden calls Ryan on his untruths it is unbecoming of a Vice President. No, hypocrisy doesn't ring a bell.

Note: I am secretly delighted with the way "Style!" looks in Italic in this context.
