  •  Another thing they're scared of... (16+ / 0-) that the things Obama did are starting to work, and if he's in office when the seeds he planted start to grow, he'll get credit for them.  They know Obama's been on the right track but it's a long-term growth process, and they're desperate to get one of their guys in there so they'll be able to take credit for it.

Because what record of success do Republicans have, really?   Look at the South.  That's the area of the country that's elected the with the greatest consistency and for the longest time, and you can see what results those states have gotten from the policies of the people they keep electing -- they're last in everything.  If conservative policies were actually good, the South would be leading the rest of the country, instead of getting the worst results and being the biggest takers of federal dollars.  People are starting to notice that.  So far Republicans have hung on to control by pandering to religion, but after a while that starts to lose its impact when they don't actually get many "blessings" from their faithfulness.

So, they need some success.  And to get it, they'll do what they always do -- fuck up, get a Democrat in to fix it, then try to grab power again and take credit for it.

    We can't let that work.

    •  that's precisely why they didn't hack the (5+ / 0-)

last election.  They wanted Bush's $hit stain to be removed from their party and if McPappy got in, it would only reinforce the stain and mean that the GOP would never gain control of the White House ever again.

It's fact that Obamacare is already working so they're quaking in their boots right now.  They've been nothing but Obstructionists for 4 years and need to be clearly booted out of office.

Clearly, these job numbers should be viewed as "great news" for the Middle Class of this country which is precisely why you see these "treasonous members of the GOP" trying to question their validity.  How dare them pretend they are working for the people of this country?

They hate america and it's becoming clearer with each passing day.  But isn't it incredible the way Karma works?  The more they try to obstruct and make President Obama fail, the greater success he has.

As they say and I remind all those GOP "haters" out there:  Karma IS a bitch!

    •  So true. They're scared Obama will get the credit (3+ / 0-)

when the economy rolls in. And it will hurt even more than he deserves the credit!
