    I went to a wake earlier tonight, and I'm still a little off. I didn't even think to check the partisan sample.

    Yeah, that's just nutty. I could see a debate shifting things a little, although that's not necessarily what happened here, but I don't think anyone, anywhere, expects a partisan turnout like that.

      GOP spinmeister and ex-Bush flack, told MSNBC that Pew's likely voter sample was unrealistically pro-Republican.  

      Nothing against Pew per se, but they're as susceptible to bad modeling and being off in their samples as anyone.  They've erred in the Democratic direction before as well.
