    I worry about Peters ability to win statewide.  He did lose the AG race in 2002.  Peters could do well but I certainly don't think he would win "easily."  I don't dislike Peters but he wouldn't be my first choice if Levin does retire (which I don't he will).

      I'd probably personally prefer Gretchen Whitmer, but I wouldn't mind Peters and think he'd have a slightly easier time than Whitmer.

        would be Dan Kildee, who is currently running to replace his uncle in the MI-5 district.  He was in the 2010 governor's race for a short time (a week I think) but I was impressed with him.  

        I also like John Cherry.  Some would worry about his connection to the Granholm administration but I think he would be a stronger candidate than many think.
