  •  Campaign corrections after a debate (6+ / 0-)

watched by 40 million or so people is about as effective as a newspaper printing a correction to a previous headline story on the bottom right column of page 17.

"In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for; as for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican." - H. L. Mencken

Mitt Romney has a reputation as a liar. Telling people he lied shouldn't be too challenging. Plus, this message really only needs to reach voters in a few states.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

One of the major victories of the MSM and the conservative politburo is the idea that everyone in government is a liar.

Every time we point out that Romney is a liar, they trot a "lie" supposedly told by Obama (usually another lie from their side, but who aces?) or scream and froth about Clinton's penis.

Lies mean nothing when it is assumed that everyone lies.

All they care about is their guy winning. They don't even really care about how they will suffer if he does win. It's nothing more than rooting for the home team. That is the entire intellectual commitment of too many voters. "Are WE winning?" If not scream and throw a tantrum. If so, gloat and be insulting and mean.

An average seventh grader would be ashamed to be as ill-informed and petty as a typical undecided voter.

    •  As does Obama going on the campaign trail (1+ / 0-)
