    a bit rearranged.  

    I have to be honest here. I don't think Jesus ever existed as a real person.  This is another reason the gospels are so contradictory.  I just get tired of the war within Christianity-  it is not resolvable and not relevant to our problems as a nation or a society except that it HAMPERS rational conversation.

      That doesn't have to mean the accounts in the Bible are accurate, but denying Jesus' existence reminds me of GOPer behavior--if you don't want to think about something, deny it exists.

        and biblical scholars who do not agree he existed- Earl Dogerty and Richard Carrier to name two.  My opinion is based upon reading and researching. It is evidence based and is in no way related to your charge of "GOPer behavior.
