  •  Incompetent spot, a waste of money & time (1+ / 0-)

Dull visual quality, no graphics at all, poor narration.

Every dime spent on making this piece of crap was a dime wasted. Every dime spent on buying air time to show it is good money thrown after bad.

Best thing to do is shitcan it & use the TV time to air something that viewers might actually pay attention to.

Whoever at those groups thought this was an effective ad needs to be relieved of his or her responsibility for media, effective yesterday if possible.

Fuck the mythical “moral high ground”. There’s plenty of time to shower after the election. (h/t danah gaz (fka gaz) @ Balloon-Juice)

    •  Another shoe to drop? (0+ / 0-)

The 47% comment was a gift to the Obama campaign and should continue to be hammered home, but I don't think it's all the folks in Chicago have. Mark Halperin has written that Chicago has oppo research that they are just waiting for the right time to release. I hope he's right. Could be something from early 2000's when he was/wasn't at Bain. Could be taxes, who knows? Who would have guessed that Gore would hit Bush with the DWI charge in 2000? Right now I feel better not knowing what they have because, if we assume the Obama campaign has something big, then not using it now means they are not terribly worried yet.

      •  Have been wondering the same thing (0+ / 0-)

Does Harry Reid have anything concrete on the seemingly-forgotten Romney tax issues or was he just blowing smoke last month?

      •  That would be great, but that's not the issue (0+ / 0-)

        I'm addressing.

The issue is whether this particular spot helps the reelection campaign (beyond making us Kossacks feel good).

I maintain it does not & to the extent it takes up air time that could be used for spots that would help, it is worse than useless.
