any thoughts on how to engage the DCCC more?

I think you are right about the uphill battle, but Zerban is very good and frankly I don't really understand how Ryan keeps his seat, as extreme as he is.

...the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.  Clearly, they have Ryan's seat in their sights (it's the first thing that comes up in the rotating banner on their website).  The state level Dem party honchos generally have to make a pretty good case to the DCCC that a seat is in play in order for the DCCC to make an investment.  My experience has been that the DCCC is 98% focused on retaining seats already held, rather than going after potential pickups.  So, that's part of the uphill battle.

With so little time left before the election at this point, you might want to have Zerban supporters directly approach the DCCC.  Again, it's important to have a convincing argument that winning the seat is achievable, and that there's enough organizational strength in the campaign to pull it off.  It would be almost impossible to make the case at this point with enough time to make a difference.

Best of luck!  I'll sign up and make some calls next week.

and, just so you know, I am not officially affiliated with the campaign.  Like what I saw and signed up on his site months ago.

Think I'll copy this and send it to the campaign.  Thank you so much for making the calls/Sh
