to try to crawl into other people's shoes

doing that...how do THEY know Romney would send their kids to war? he hasn't said that. How do they know they'd loose healthcare? Romney started healthcare HIMSELF in his state...they have no evidence to doubt him when he says he'll fix or replace Obamacare with something better...

and Romney says he won't get rid of SS or Medicare, just fix it.

See, it all comes down to the fact that WE paid attention over the last months and OTHER people did not. We LEARNED that Romney is lying more than ANY politician EVER does in running for President. Anyone who has payed attention over time has learned that about him so knows not to believe him even to the extent that  they'd believe any poliician.

Calling out Romney's lies is not good enough, showing them is better but also needed is for the MEDIA and OBAMA and the DEMS (well not Obama himself he can't call Romney a liar to his face with that word, I think). I think the solution is for serrogates and the media to explain this:

Romney is lying in a UNIQUE WAY unlike other Presidential candidates. There is NO HISTORICAL PRECIDENT.

I think that HOW IS IS NOT USUAL and therefore how YOU NEED TO TRUST WHAT HE SAYS LESS....is not being explained. "all politicians lie' is what people say to themselves to excuse Romney when considering voting for him. We need to explain Romney is not lying that way, he's worse. Unique.

That "flip flopper" stuck to Kerry, in this setting, is really galling, isn't it?
We need to understand why Romney is so tephlon-esque around that charge.

    •  Maybe if he brought up the 47% comments in (0+ / 0-)

debate, specifics, he might get their attention and curiosity to find out who the guy really is.
