      You've done this before!  :-)

Except for the exhaustion which is hitting me harder this year than it has in the past, most everything's the same and the symptoms are too vague for anyone in any medical field to think there's anything wrong, I suspect (well, I am 66, so lots of things feel familiar).  I'm even taking Vitamin D, have been on 2000 units daily for several months (per the doc's recommendation, BTW).  Plus my usual blood pressure and gout meds and aspirin for the heart thing.

The only thing different is the left pinkie finger with it's swelling and feverish feeling and pain (esp. if I hit it wrong typing) which is probably an arthritis attack - and I mentioned it just a month ago when I saw the dr. for my regular appt., so he's aware of it (I have the joint swelling and feverish feeling in various bone joints when degenerative arthritis attacks a joint it hasn't hit before, so I recognize the symptoms since I've had these episodes off and on for many years in various parts of my body - this time there might be a touch of gout, but that normally doesn't affect hands much, and I know I have it in my right foot in particular if I don't take meds and drink lots of water).

Allergies seem to be hitting me worse this year.  I'm even having sneezing jags after taking antihistamines. Smoke from the forest fires out west in the air?  I dunno.  "Feels like" what happens in the winter when neighbors burn pine in the fireplaces and smoke seeps in via whatever little cracks there are around window jambs.  I'm allergic to all conifers, and that includes smoke when the wood is burned.  The fall also brings out deciduous pollens in some cases (only deciduous tree eliminated from allergies is oak so far; the rest I reacted to one degree or another); conifer pollens are in the spring.

But..., y'know what?  I think what I'll do is give this a few more days, make sure I get enough regular rest, and if it doesn't improve I'll call the dr.  Maybe all I need to do is increase my Vit. D or something to give me some energy.  My next regularly scheduled blood test is in Dec. (I have them every three months to monitor b/p meds & gout & kidney functions).

Thank you, {{{~♥~Maudlin~♥~}}} for being concerned and sensitive.  I truly appreciate it.
