in today's polling were conducted during or after the VP debate.  With Biden generally being called the winner, or at the very worst a draw, that should help us, especially by helping to fortify some weak or downcast Dems and increasing the enthusiasm factor.

It would be nice to get rid of the gloomy posts which have proliferated since the first debate (and at times before). Somebody in another comment thread suggested such posters should be called "Emocrats".  As a fan of emo rock with longish bangs and frequent wearer of skinny jeans and Converse sneakers, I'd like to disassociate myself from that particular Emocrat ethos. :)

    •  The Reuters/Ipsos tracker would be the best early (2+ / 0-)

indicator of any Biden bounce because they include interviews from the same day they update, unlike all the other trackers.  So Reuters/Ipsos has data from today when Obama gained 2 points.

I'll be looking to see a close in the LV-RV/enthusiasm gap.  It was 4 points in Gallup today and 4 points in Reuters yesterday.  We're really looking to get down to 1-2.
