  •  Medicare isn't very good (0+ / 0-)

    Medicare barely works now.  Yes, it is indeed a life saver.  It costs the seniors money out of pocket, and it does not pay many health care providers enough money.  No primary care doctor can have a practice of only Medicare patients and take in enough money to keep his doors open.

    Workers of all ages pay into Medicare, not just those under 65.  Keep working, keep paying.

    It makes no sense whatsoever to tie Medicare funding to work.  If we survive this election challenge, we need to find a way to put the Medicare tax on all income of all sources, not just income from work.  Romney and his ilk should pay Medicare tax on their gross income, and spread the tax beyond just Romney's gardeners and stable hands.

    I support Medicare-done-right-For-All.
