  •  Here's my fear: (11+ / 0-)

What I'm hearing is that if PBO cannot do what Biden did, exactly the same way, the whiny left is bailing.  They will complain and bitch and contribute greatly to us losing, if they have their way.

Watch Republicans today: speaking with one voice to discredit their opponent and build up their candidate.  Their lying, smarmy, insulting, Randian monster.  And we couldn't have PBO's back last week?

EVERY good thing Bill Press and Ed Schultz said about Biden today was couched in diminishing of PBO and a reminder of last week -- 10 DAYS AFTER THE DEBATE.

It's 2010 all over again.  Fool us once, shame on you.  Fool us twice, shame on us.  For our alleged progressive media to keep feeding the negative is unconscionable.

I'm literally hearing it and reading it all over twitter:  if PBO doesn't do what Biden did exactly as Biden did it, they're done.  You selfish bastards.  We have a great man as a President and you couldn't have his back through one bad debate.

We CANNOT make up with Biden's performance the damage done last week.  Some of it was inflicted by PBO's performance.  But the fact that it stayed alive -- that's our fault and our miserable 'liberal' media.

I'm not scared of what PBO will do in the next two debates.  I'm terrified about what the left will do to sabotage any gains.

    Despicable.

Everything you say makes sense, and is compatible with what I wrote in the diary.

Now lets rise up to a meta level, and look again, and ask this question: how can we evolve from criticizing our allies to the higher place of guiding and empowering and helping our allies?

My motto in this regard is

Sustain what sustains us, and drain what drains us.
I appreciate your partnership, and urge you to reach out to fellow progressive opinion leaders and gently help them move toward mutual positive feedback and our shared goal of mutual empowerment.

#3: ensure network neutrality; #2: ensure electoral integrity; #1: ensure ecosystemic sustainability.

    •  Your broad-brushing is what's despicable (0+ / 0-)

and your "whiny left" and "we couldn't have PBO's back last week" memes.

You're edging close to the donut box IMO.

between the right media and the left media is that the right media makes money off pumping up Republicans and the left media makes money off ripping the Democrats to shreds.
