The only polls that give Romney big margins there are GOP polls and even funnier is that all of a sudden there is a flurry of these polls out of Florida starting off with the Suffolk comment earlier this week that got criticized by other professional posters. Plouffe himself said that the Mason Dixon poll was 'impossible'. If Plouffe openly sh*tcans that poll then I am going to take anything the GOP says out of there w/ a big grain. Remember Romney has to win FL just to stay in the game, he HAS to look viable there. I don't doubt it's close there or that he may have an edge but all the R-leaning pollsters suddenly pulling these FL numbers at the same time and Plouffe's quote... not buying it.

FL was always going to be close, and the debate made it closer.

And you're correct about Romney needing to win FL; the President doesn't.

leaning pollsters are calling it for Romney so goes intrade. BUT Nate @538 said Mason Dixon was a good pollster.
-But we shouldn't kid closer than it ever was. Hope now is we don't lose more ground again...Biden helped with that yesterday....and Obama must not be seen to "lose" the next.

but the Mason Dixon poll just seems out of nowhere. I'm working on GOTV communications. Just discussed the toplines with a Hispanic colleague. His response to the flip in Hispanic support was "holy sh*t."

See, this is personal for me. I remember the crap we went through in 2000. A President Obama victory would help remove residual stench. My part of the state will provide the numbers he needs for victory, which means we have to step it up with GOTV if we can't stop the slide wherever it exists. We're already working hard as hell.
