  •  We found out it can be a big difference street (10+ / 0-)

    to street in my town. 2 blocks up, people get 40 kids, we got none last year and 4 the year and never more than 10. I think because our street is a dead end and kids do not venture down far enough. But I wish they would..I love the holiday.

      village.  The street was pretty long, almost everyone decorated and treated and because it was on a hill, most kids were both satisfied and tired after only one street, so the parents could go home.  The Village had a costume parade, then the families would head for the "candy neighborhoods" The littlest kids would be there early, so they didn't get trampled.
