    actions speak to that, but my heart is heavy that nobody I must vote for is even close to having climate change on the radar.
    The feedback loop is a grave circumstance,

    As the amount of ice that melts each summer increases, it opens larger and larger patches of dark Arctic Ocean waters that absorb more heat than the reflective ice they replace, a process that accelerates Arctic warming.
    It affects everything in the heretofore "normal" patterns. We can kiss goodbye to those.
    Meanwhile, other recent studies have drawn connections between Arctic amplification and changes in the behavior of atmospheric circulation in fall and winter, fueling extreme weather like the powerful snowstorms that buried the U.S. East Coast in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 (ClimateWire, Sept. 13).
    Piss all is being done to hold a line. I think our goose is likely already cooked, but am really angry that the stunning denial that seems to be a mass delusion doesn't even permit a crack at survival for the most.
