Too damn much to do, but that's mostly self-inflicted. My group at work is disintegrating and one particular person is trying to micromanage what's left, to the point of considering having me do something 1) I have no time to do, and 2) isn't remotely related to what I'm supposed to be doing - but even that's barely noteworthy. My manager's intervening, and if that doesn't work, I just hold out 'til January and go to school full-time. I won't work for that guy.

I woke up at 4:20am to the sound of the people downstairs having wild, passionate sex - which wouldn't have bothered me had I not let my mind wander to the 6 papers I have to write this semester, along with getting substantial work done on my thesis. Low-level panic attacks at 4:30am - no fun.

Three days ago my FP would've been smelly bloody cat diarrhea. I wasn't sure which cat it was, and was hoping it was the one who'd treat a vet visit like a new adventure, not the fractious kitty who hates all humans but me and Kid Pax. Then a friend (who knows and dislikes my cats generally) asked, "Did you change their food?" Well... slightly. The store didn't have the kind they've eaten for the past year, so I bought what they'd eaten before; same brand, just a different variety. Hm. Picked up the old stuff in San Jose yesterday, and voila - no more smelly bloody cat diarrhea.

    Meh. Busy. That's all.
