format. Do you expect different results because of this? Do you think President Obama is better/will perform better with the changed format?

He's very good at talking to people, as opposed to at people.

President Obama did look tired at the first debate. And he looked like a man who dislikes the man he was facing.

    He's got to change that.

"Bishop" Romney.   the Mormon Romney. (and that is the very first time i've ever referred to his religion.)

        clueless, condescending ass? :)

The second debate is more to Obama's strengths than Romney's imo. But all the nonstop handwringing and advising the President has gotten ridiculous.

All I'm saying is that Obama is a good politician or he wouldn't have been elected in the first place. Is he up to every type of politicking? No, because most aren't.

Romney otoh has to be one of the worst politicians that I can remember in my lifetime and that covers a lot. So at some point, sooner probably than later that clumsy oafishness will reappear.

Right now Romney is riding high on his last performance. But he has to duplicate that in a different setting. I doubt he can do it. I'm betting that the President will do better in a town hall even with Candy Crowley as "moderator."

to listen to, her "tics" or mannerisms when asking questions just annoy me. But Obama will have to suppress that.

Romney will lie as always because that seems to be his strategy. I don't think that it will play as well in this type of forum.
