    and, yes, I get lots of calls too.  In fact, I just moved, and my new landline must have belonged to a Repub cuz I got a call to "stay on the line for a townhall with Mitt Romney" and I did, and damn if the old Mittster wasn't there for real.  The first two questions were from obvious Dems, which kinda pissed him off, and the third one, who said right up front, "ya got my vote" still asked him a pointed question.  
    That is when I had to hang up cuz I couldn't listen to his bullshit anymore.  

    Ohio always gets all kinds of attention for elections.

      but I've never been polled. This is likely because, in part, I've only had a cell for the past 9 or 10 years. I know that some companies have really stepped up their cell interviews, but not sure how this works. If someone has a listing with my number, I'd be pretty unhappy about that.

        They program the area code and exchange in the proportions they want and randomly select the last four digits. Some pollsters argue this is a better way to get random selection, others prefer a list to pre-select demographic criteria.
