Monetary wealth is a figment of the imagination. What we have to learn is not to let our imagination control our actions. We need to interact with the tangible, material world. That's where the financial engineers have gone off the rails. They've constructed a vicarious system of deprivation which, because it is taken as truth, has disastrous real- world consequences. But, we can change that. Yes, we can.
