    If Obama is doing "worse" on average in most blue states than Romney is doing (post debate) in red ones that might explain the numbers. In other words, say, ahead now in Mass. by "only" 15, while Romney is ahead in Alabama by 20, etc. In other words, Romney has gained support in polls from previously lukewarm "undecided" voters in places he doesn't need them re: electoral college.

      Romney is solidifying red states and enthusiasm for Obama has weakened in blue states. I am hoping that the next two debates go well for Obama and then he can switch it into high gear with huge rallies up until the election. The comparison between Obama's huge rallies and Romney's small events will generate enthusiasm for our side and depression on their side.
