  •  lol thanks Kelley (13+ / 0-)

    normally I'm not that cranky,

and for the most part have found

the new version of dkos a big improvement.

I'm sure the programmers are doing the best they can

with very challenging mix of business and user requirements.

    One thing I think they've underestimated/overlooked though

is the dynamic nature of "Social Media"

-- as best represented by Live Debate Blogs, Action related posts, Candidate discussion forums, and Community Building/Support efforts.

These kind of synergy-events are the "heart and soul" of a once vibrant community.

We need more powerful "Social Media" tools, not less ...

Where's our Twitter-type page, for instance?

Shouldn't long format vs short format posts have different Thread Columns,
to support and cater to different attention-span audiences?

Personally I find it hard to get motivated to research and post lately --
given the whitewater "churn rates" my flotsam must contend with.
(the churn rate is about 3x times faster than at the Big Launch,
but still only 12 slots?  ... some thumb on the pulse ...)

The View Count was one minor solace, that was spurring me on,
to man that next oar, for the next "newsworthy race."

Ready, set -- Row! ... grumble, grumble.

Curses, fell off the list again -- in record time, no less.

Are you ready to Vote? Are you still 'allowed' to Vote?
