    Iif he wins appeal and they pay his legal fees, aye.....what a troubled web he weaves. he is already charged, that is indicted, under Scot. law for perjury in Sheridan case.

    While prior acts may not be mentioned in english court-don't know law on this-he and his solicitors have to know that prosecutors know his record as a witness is less that pure.

    and if the solicitors/barristers comes from News Corp.

    It is so complex for me, who has followed the story, I fear for what a jury will be able to make of it.

    IIRC, during jury selection for Enron one prospective juror thought Enron was part of NASA.

      cases that are held under English Law and cases under Scottish law, (if the Procurator Fiscal brings charges, and I've no idea how that works or differs, I will ask) and either will have their own rules
