  •  I think Husted may still (0+ / 0-)

do his best to alter the outcome, whether he misplaces voting machines on election day in Dem districts or just fudges the numbers. If so, I look forward to seeing his perp walk video and some nice mug shots.

    •  He can't do either of those things (0+ / 0-)

Sorry to burst your bubble. i know we love conspiracy theories here, but the SoS is not all-powerful. That's WHY he was pursuing this.

I don't know what the SOS can do as far as trying to tilt the election. I'd be happy to hear that the process is now secure from tampering. But is it a really just a conspiracy theory when the SOS is actively working to curtail voting hours? And other states are passing voter ID laws to restrict voting?

Husted will not rescind the hours he has already set in directives. Won't happen.

          •  I understand that. (0+ / 0-)

My point is that Husted has been openly working against Democrats in his official capacity as SOS. I don't know if there are any other dirty tricks he and other GOP election officials can pull, but I certainly would not trust him to honestly oversee the process if there is a way for him to throw in a monkey wrench.
