  •  The other thing that bothered me about that (6+ / 0-)

    line is that Mitt really didn't think that any woman was qualified enough in the first place.  If his back wasn't against the wall, Romney would have just been satisfied with what he had.  His comments and aggressive behavior showed his contempt for any woman that challenges him.

    Furthermore, his entire statement (and treatment of Crowley) demonstrated his hatred of women.  He didn't even kiss or hug his wife last night. They barely touched.  Nevertheless, Ann is perfect for the man because she never talks back.  She's just another one of his possessions.

        However, his aggressiveness and contempt of women did not change.  You can tell that with his ploys to dominate Crowley last night.  A man who respects women would not say the things Mitt did last night.
