    is that he was clearly unprepared in going down this path in the first place. What does it say about his attention to detail in his debate prep that he was not fully up to speed with what the President said in the Rose Garden the day after the attacks?

    After all, this was potentially an opportunity for Romney to land a blow in the debate and you would have thought he would have had Obama's comments committed to memory...certainly the President knew exactly the words he had used.

    Romney was absolutely convinced he had scored a "gotcha" moment but, yet again, his hubris, his arrogance, his unpreparedness, his scorn for detail is what we will all remember from the exchange...and it will probably go down as a seminal moment in Presidential debate history.

    A spectacular and colossal fail.
