    Or is it the privatization in conjunction with prisoner labor you were upset about?

      It was the county's largest employer, employing 800 people, and then it reopened with prison labor.  The closing of the plant affected me because my URESA case load - Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act - shot up, enforcement of child support orders where the custodial parent, usually the mom, moved to another state.  Unemployed people do have a habit of falling behind on their child support, and, of course, you can't draw blood from a turnip.  The reopening of the pork plant with prison labor did little for employment in the county and nothing to reduce the URESA filings.
