I thought it was great that Obama connected equal pay for women to issues of contraception and reproductive rights. He is absolutely correct to point out that making sure women control their own bodies enables them to be successful economically.

And what an offensive answer by Romney. Equal pay? Well I looked at binders full of women, whatever that means. Even if he supported equal pay for women, which he doesn't, he's still against allowing them full and affordable access to birth control. Defunding Planned Parenthood and getting rid of Obamacare/passing the Blunt Amendment would make access to birth control a lot more difficult for women, meaning their long-term economic success would be hurt.

I worked for a now-defunct multinational networking hardware company. they brought out all the executives from all over the world, about 25 of them, the chiefs of all their divisions, and every single one of them was male. Only two were not white: the division chief in Japan, and the one in India.

So here we are 12 years after that, and we still have companies like that all over the place, and we still have politicians that think that's normal, and pay hasn't really improved for women, etc, etc.

I'm so tired of these boys clubs. I've not once in my life worked for a company substantially run by women.
